DuoVersets: privacy policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026.

This policy covers DuoVersets (DuoVersets), published by FunArena for iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows. Contact: funarena.fr@gmail.com. Details about the FunArena website and its operator appear in the website privacy policy (French).

In short

The game requires no account and includes no advertising or usage analytics SDK. FunArena runs no server that stores your games or scores. Multiplayer, public-IP display and Apple purchases do involve the network exchanges described below.

1. On-device storage

Language, sound settings, last game mode and solo best scores (time, mistakes and attempts per deck and board size) are stored locally. The game does not send them to FunArena or provide cloud synchronisation. Your operating system may apply its own backup settings. Local data remains until deleted; uninstalling the app or clearing its data may remove it.

2. Multiplayer

Your chosen name or nickname, board, revealed cards, turns, scores and game state are exchanged directly between the two players' devices. Your partner may know your network address. Where LAN discovery is supported, the host name and game port are advertised to devices searching on the local network. iOS uses manual IP entry without automatic discovery.

No FunArena server relays these exchanges. The game protocol does not add application-level encryption. Use trusted networks and partners, and avoid sensitive personal information in nicknames. The game does not save session details as a multiplayer history.

3. Public IP display

Opening the Internet host screen, or refreshing its IP, makes an HTTPS request to https://api.ipify.org. That service necessarily receives your public IP to return it for display. No nickname, board or score is sent to it. Solo, same-device play and LAN do not require this request. ipify applies its own terms. FunArena does not store the address on a server or use it for geolocation.

4. Optional support purchases

On iPhone and iPad, support purchases use StoreKit and Apple's payment system. Apple handles account, payment and transaction data under its privacy policy. The game receives the information needed to display products and handle purchase results, without sending it to a FunArena server. FunArena does not receive your bank details through the game. Support is one-time and optional, with no subscription, unlock or gameplay benefit.

On Windows, the support button opens PayPal in an external browser, under PayPal's own policies. There is no PayPal link in the iOS app. Android support purchases are not enabled in the current version.

5. Support and store diagnostics

If you contact support, your email address and the details you choose to provide are used to respond. The website privacy policy describes support and website technical-data handling. Stores and TestFlight may process diagnostics or feedback under their own settings and policies. The game embeds no analytics or advertising-tracking SDK.

6. Children

The game does not request age, date of birth or a religious profile. Payment is not required to play. Families can use Apple's purchase restrictions and parental approval settings.

7. Choices and rights

You can play offline in solo or same-device mode, avoid the Internet host screen, use a nickname and skip support purchases. FunArena holds no central copy of your scores or sessions. For questions or requests concerning information you voluntarily sent to support, contact funarena.fr@gmail.com. Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability rights apply as provided by law. You may contact your competent data protection authority, including the CNIL.

8. Changes

This policy will be updated when game functionality or data handling changes. Visiting the website is separate from using the game and is covered by the website policy.
