Liberate: privacy policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This policy covers the game Liberate ("Liberate: Escape Room for Two"), published by FunArena (Simeon Schroeder) on Android, iPhone, iPad and computer. For any question: funarena@funarena.fr.
In short
Liberate does not collect any personal data. It requires no account, shows no ads, does not measure how you use it and never connects to a FunArena server.
1. What the game keeps on your device
The game saves, only on your phone, tablet or computer: your game (its code, the prisoner you play, your progress), your settings (the language) and the state of your purchase. This data is deleted when you uninstall the game. FunArena does not receive it.
2. The guest number
So that a player who owns the full game can invite their partner, the game computes on the device a "guest number" from the game code and the identifier the system gives the device (or, failing that, a random identifier kept on the device). This identifier is never displayed, stored or sent: only the guest number appears on screen, and you choose to read it out to your partner.
3. Playing together
Liberate does not use the internet to connect two players: you talk to each other directly, in the same room, over the phone or on a voice call. Whatever app you use to call each other applies its own privacy policy.
4. Purchases
Chapter 1 is free; the full game is bought through the store's payment system (Google Play, App Store, Steam), which applies its own privacy policy. FunArena neither sees nor keeps your payment details: the game only receives confirmation of the purchase.
5. Children
The game collects no data, whatever the age of the person playing. The recommended age is shown on its page in each store.
6. Your rights
Since FunArena holds no data about you through Liberate, there is nothing to access or delete on our side. You keep all your rights under the GDPR and other privacy laws: for any request, write to funarena@funarena.fr.
7. Changes
If an update of the game ever changed what it does with data (for example online saves), this page would be updated first, with its date. The FunArena.fr website itself (cookies, support) has its own privacy policy (in French).
